We know that bridal terminology can sometimes feel confusing, so we’re here to break it down and help you understand exactly what makes our collections special.
What Is Our Ready to Wear Collection?
At The Ivory Lounge, our Ready to Wear collection is very different from what you might find elsewhere.
While some shops use the term “ready to wear” to describe ex-sample or sale dresses, ours are not shop samples.
Our Ready to Wear gowns are:
A carefully curated collection
Selected in collaboration with our designers
Brand new gowns
Supplied directly from designers as discontinued styles
Because these gowns have been discontinued by the designer, we’re able to offer them to our wonderful brides up to 50% off—giving you the chance to purchase a brand-new designer dress at an incredible price.
These dresses arrive in new, pristine condition, ready for your appointment—no dry cleaning required. Like most bridal gowns, they will still need alterations to achieve the perfect fit.

Payment options: Pay in store or flexible plans available online, including up to 12 monthly instalments
Our End of Line / Sale Collection
Our End of Line (Sale) collection is made up of ex-sample gowns that have been tried on by brides in-store.
Once these dresses are discontinued from our main collection, they move to our End of Line rail and are heavily discounted to reflect their condition.
These gowns are:
Former shop samples
Tried on during appointments
Priced according to condition
These dresses are perfect for brides on a tight timeline & tight budgets.
